About The Founder

With over a decade of experience in global investment management, Justin served as a Portfolio Manager for the majority of his career, managing and advising on $4 billion USD across multiple asset classes. These asset classes included equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, and alternative investments such as hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and private credit. As Portfolio Manager, he led the investment team, conducted over 400 front-office investment meetings, and navigated challenging market conditions (including the COVID-19 2020 stock market crash) while overseeing the firm’s portfolio management, investment strategy, trading, treasury, risk management, and compliance functions.

Justin holds a BA in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of Kent and an MSc in Investment Management from the University of Reading, where he graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has earned the International Fixed Income and Derivatives Certificate.

Now, through FinLitBB, Justin is dedicated to bridging the financial literacy gap and making investment education more accessible to people from all walks of life. He founded FinLitBB to share his expertise with anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of financial markets—from professionals and entrepreneurs to students, retirees, and everyday investors. His approach is rooted in real-world experience, emphasizing practical insights over theory. By integrating historical and current events, he equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to navigate financial markets and take control of their financial future.
