About The Speaker
With over a decade of experience in global investment management, Justin served as a Portfolio Manager for the majority of his career, where he was responsible for managing and advising on $4 billion USD across multiple asset classes. These asset classes included equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, and alternative investments such as hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and private credit. As Portfolio Manager, he led the investment team and was responsible for global investment research and analysis, conducting over 400 front office investment meetings, and navigating challenging market conditions while overseeing the firm’s investment strategy, trading, risk management, and compliance functions.
Justin holds a BA degree in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from the University of Kent and an MSc in Investment Management from the University of Reading, where he graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours. He has also earned the International Fixed Income and Derivatives Certificate and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Now focused on empowering others through financial literacy, Justin is launching an Investment 101 Seminar Series to share his knowledge and experience with a diverse audience—including students, retail workers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, business professionals, doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers, IT professionals, teachers, retirees, government workers, healthcare professionals, finance professionals, consultants, real estate professionals, and nonprofit professionals… basically anyone looking to build a solid foundation to make informed investment decisions!
Every asset class covered in the seminar is one that Justin has hands-on experience managing in financial markets. His approach is grounded in real-world expertise, combining technical skills and practical know-how that go far beyond theoretical speculation or academic concepts. By integrating historic and current events, he builds a strong foundation of fundamentals while intertwining them with live, real-world examples. This ensures that each session is rooted in practical insights and is immediately applicable, giving attendees a deeper understanding of complex market dynamics.
